PHOENIX ART MUSEUM GALLERY TOUR LED BY JAMES BALLINGER

James Ballinger, director of the Phoenix Art Museum, gave FOMA members an in-depth tour of the newly reopened Latin American Gallery.  He also showed and discussed many of the artworks that FOMA has purchased and donated to the museum.  This event enhanced the relationship between PAM, Mr. Ballinger, and FOMA.  All those who attended were treated to a detailed discussion of changes in museum displays,  and interesting behind the scenes information.  We are certainly grateful to Mr. Ballinger for taking time in his busy schedule to give us this wonderful tour.

HOME TOUR

Our annual Hacienda Tour (this year called “Casitas Encantadas”) and Mercado was a great success in spite of the economy and the cold weather.   There was an atmosphere of festivity and good fun in all the homes and at the mercado.  Special thanks to all who made this day possible:  Sarah Maresco, Paul Schulz, Bets Nenad, Sally Hutchison, all our volunteers, our dedicated homeowners, our faithful supporters,  and the weatherman who gave us a RAIN-FREE day!  Special thanks again to Caralee Allsworth for her generous donations of art work sold at the Mercado.
